Open Day of SWAPTEL
On December 5, 2019, the Open Day of SWAPTEL Laboratory was held at Atyrau State University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov.
SWAPTEL (Soap, Water and Plant Testing Laboratory) is a soil, water and plant testing research laboratory established and funded by the Social Investment Program of Tengizchevroil LLP through the Public Fund "Center for Support of Scientific Initiatives" of the Atyrau Region on the basis of Atyrau State University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov.
The activities of the laboratory are aimed at analytical provision (through qualitative scientific analyses of soil, water and plants) of educational and scientific projects aimed at ecological and economic development of Atyrau region.
Deputy Head of the Regional Territorial Inspection of the State Inspection Committee in the agricultural complex Shugaepov R. were invited to familiarize themselves with the laboratory, Head of Inspection Department Shakhmetov M., Head of Agriculture Department of Atyrau Region Aukhadiyev M., Chief Specialist Arystanbayev B., Chairman of the Council of Farmers of the Atyrau Region Sarmanov M., Entrepreneur Rosmetov V., heads of peasant farms of Atyrau region Doszhanova K., Sarsekenov S., Zhumagaliyev O, Kemelbay A., Kabiyev S., Zheksengaliyev Z., Sagiyev K., Korganbayev S. and others.
The laboratory staff familiarized the guests with the types of services provided, showed the process of conducting chemical analyzes on modern equipment.
SWAPTEL is a comprehensive multi-functional laboratory with advanced equipment. The laboratory is the main part of the project to transform Atyrau State University into a “green campus” - ECOCAMPUS.
