PRESENTATION OF NEW PUBLICATIONS
Today, on April 17, in the conference hall of the university a “round table” was held, where the presentation of new publications took place on the projects “Tugan zher”, “100 new textbooks” within the framework of the program “Ruhani jangyru”.
It was attended by the representatives of faculty staff, students and Master’s degree students of Atyrau State University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov, Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, Atyrau Engineering and Humanitarian Institute, representatives of the scientific and expert community, ethnocultural associations, and regional mass media. The event was also attended by the heads of Secretariat of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, MPI "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the regional akim's office, the regional inspectorate for the protection of monuments of historical and cultural heritage, and the regional local history museum. The meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector for Science, Professor S.N. Idrissov. The presentation of the collection of materials of field research "Aktobe-Laeti. History and Modernity” were made by the Head of “Russian Ethnocultural Association “Bylina” LLC A.A. Korablev, a professor of Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, an archaeologist, a local historian V.K.Afanasyev and a journalist, a local historian L.L.Guzikov.
The "Round table" was held by the Director of Institute of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Atyrau State University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov, doctor of historical sciences, professor Zh.U.Kydyralina, which also gave an overview of published and translated into Kazakh language world bestsellers on project "New humanitarian knowledge.100 new textbooks”. The brief reports on the books of Yuval Noah Harari “Sapins. A Brief History of Humanity” by Stephen R. Covey “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” were made by Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Zoology and General Biological Disciplines of Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov G.А. Saparova and Candidate of Historical Sciences, Dean of the Humanities and Art Faculty G.K. Kairgaliyeva. During the event, an exhibition of new publications was organized.
