Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption in the Atyrau region together with the Project Office "HonestyPlatform".Atyrau State University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov, the scientific-universal library named after G.Slanov in order to promote reading, increase interest in reading, develop spiritual culture of readers organized a project of book crossing"Read it yourself – offer it to others".
The main idea of the project is the interchange of books. Anyone can take from a shelf an unfamiliar book,which he has not yet read, and in return add any interesting book of his own.
The Vice-Rector of the ASU named after Kh.Dosmukhamedovfor scientific work S.N.Idrisov in his speech explained to students that, despite the intensive development of modern technologies, spiritual wealth is contained in books.
Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Zh. Karazhanov, expressing gratitude to the collectives who took part in the organization of this project, focused on the importance of books in the life of people, on the fact that knowledge is gained through books.
Veteran teacher, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Sh.N.Nagimov shared his opinion on peculiarities and values of works of Russian classical literature. Head of the project office "Honesty Platform" A.D.Adiyeva noted that this project will continue to be organized in higher educational institutions, and urged readers to actively participate in it.
During the event, a quiz on the poetic works of the classics of Kazakh literature was held, which aroused great interest among the participants.
