Research work of Atyrau scientists in the Russian archives
Today, on April 3rd, 2019, the Director of the Research Center in Moscow "History, Archeology and Ethnography of Atyrau Territory", Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Saypolla Zhumabayevich Sapanov contacted us. He spoke about his scientific business trip:
“Due to the initiative of the University Rector A. Taltenov, we head to the city of Astrakhan with the Director of Research center “Mangіlіk El”, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Akkali Kabizhanovich Akhmet on March 19.
We had the following goals: in accordance with the project “Archive-2025”, marked in article of N. Nazarbayev “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”, published on November 21 last year, look for documents related to the history of our region in the Russian archives, collect and systematize them, enter into scientific circulation.
Having worked enough time with the documents from the funds of the Astrakhan region state archive, we headed to the city of Voronezh. In order to search for documents about exiled here in 1932-1938y. the figures of Alash, we investigated data from the materials of the regional socio-political archive. New important information found about such historical figures as M. Tynyshpaev, Kh. Dosmukhamedov, Zh. Kuderin.
We are currently working with the documents from the Russian State Military Historical Archive in Moscow. Here we find valuable materials related to the history of our region. The research work in Moscow archives will last until April 7. ”
