Research Center "Mangilik El" was established on September 12, 2018.
The purpose of the research center "Mangilik el":
In accordance with the plan of perspective and current research works of Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedova carries out applied and fundamental research work in the direction of the humanities and organization, promotion and implementation of research work arising from the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan and the idea of "Mangilik El"; history, social science, political science.
The main directions of the scientific center:
• Organization, implementation and promotion among the population of scientific research arising from the plans of prospective and current research works of Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov in the direction of humanities and the Messages of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan, the ideas "Kazakhstan-2050" and "Mangilik el";
• Implementation of applied and fundamental scientific research on history, social studies and political science;
• Carrying out other activities not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Organization and conduct of research works in the humanities.
• Conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in the humanities.

Main functions:
• Organization and carrying out research work in the field of the humanities;
• Participation in state, sectoral and regional scientific projects and programs in the fields of the humanities;
•Carrying out other research works on the basis of a permit (license) from the authorized bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On the way to scientific research:
At the plenary session of the International Scientific Conference dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, K.L. Esmagambetov "Kazakhstan intelligentsia: history and modernity", organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies. R. Suleimenova Director of the Research Center "Mangilik el" A. K. Akhmet book "Who saw ancient Kazakhstan" report on the topic "about The conference was attended by scientists from Russia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan. In addition, the director of the Research Center works in the archives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where a lot of material on the history of the region is collected. Based on the collected materials, the scientist began to publish articles in the press.
As part of the implementation of the program "Rukhani zhangyru" from October 19 to 23, the director of the Scientific Research Center "Mangilik el", Ph.D. n., Professor A.K. Akhmet visited Isatai, Kurmangazinsky, Makat, Zhylyoi and Kyzylkoginsky districts as part of press trips for journalists and bloggers. In these areas, such holy places as the Tasgran tower, the mausoleum of Aulie Zeinen Kurasuly, the mausoleum of Makash akim, the mausoleum of Matenkozh Aulie, the mausoleum of Onai ata, the necropolis of Akmeshit, the necropolis of Kulshan ata, were visited, about which historical information was given. Meetings with youth and elders were also organized.
On November 17, 2021, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of History and World History of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts Akhmet Akkali Kabizhanovich was awarded the medal "100 Years of the Archives of Kazakhstan" for outstanding achievements in studying the history of archival affairs in Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Central State Archives of the Republic Kazakhstan.
