THE WINNERS OF THE OLYMPIAD - GRANT HOLDERS WERE AWARDED
On March 2, at the Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University hosted the closing ceremony of the regional stage of the Republican Olympiad in general education subjects.
The event was attended by the head of the Regional Department of Education Yessengaliyev Satkan Ibrayevich, rector of Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University Idrissov Salamat Nurmukhanovich, heads of the District Department of education and winners of the Olympiad.
Speaking at the solemn meeting, the head of the Regional Department of Education Satkan Ibrayevich noted that the subject Olympiad has a great impact on the education of gifted children, is a great opportunity to open up to the future: "Dear teachers, I urge you to make efforts to improve the quality of education, to increase our achievements, using all the opportunities created by the government, the leadership of the region to support the development of their desire for knowledge in identifying gifted children of the country"
. During the meeting, the winners of the regional Olympiad were awarded special certificates and memorable gifts, who spoke at the closing ceremony.
Rector of Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University Idrissov Salamat Nurmukhanovich wished success to the participants of the Olympiad and presented educational grants to the winners on behalf of the University.
In addition, the winners of the regional Olympiad were awarded grants from one of the most prestigious universities in the country - the Kazakh-British Technical University.
At the end of the event, the participants of the meeting expressed their wishes to the students and took a memorable photo.
It should be noted that due to the pandemic, 419 students took part in the regional stage of the Republican Olympiad in general education subjects, which lasted for 5 days. Students of the city participating in the Olympiad of Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University based on students of the district sat in local test centers and completed their tasks. Video cameras were installed in the classrooms where the Olympiad was held, and a live broadcast was available to the parents of the participants and the school staff via a link.
