Science Week has come to the end

The Science Week “the development of science is the key to the competitiveness of the country”, which was held from January 16 to 20, has ended today.

During the event, scheduled for four days, researcher of Lund University, scientist Kamshat Tusupova "one generation and not contemporaries – the development of science in Kazakhstan", a well-known historian in the country, combining historical research with genetics, postdoctoral scientist of Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov Zhaksylyk Sabitov "the development of historical science in Kazakhstan for Years of Independence" and PhD, Professor Nurlan Kurmanov organized coaching seminars with the participation of academic teachers on the topic "model of competencies of an innovation manager based on a Foresight session".

The deans of the faculties also held a foresight session on the topic "the vision of the faculties for the development of the university strategy" and expressed their opinion.

In order to increase the scientific potential of university professors and to have a positive impact on the training of local scientific personnel, during the past week, university graduates who completed the Bolashak internship program held meetings on the topic "the benefits of the Bolashak scientific internship and the expected contribution to the development of scientific educational activities of the university" at the Science cafe.

In particular, Eleanor Abdol, the head of the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology, a graduate of the University of Leicester, and the head of the Department of International Partnership and Internationalization, a graduate of the Mainz University named after Johann Gutenberg Karlygash Ashirkhanova, professors of the Department of Software Engineering Shynar Elezhanova and Layla Kurmangazieva met with the teaching staff and shared their experience.
