The scientific library of Atyrau university named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov held a festive evening dedicated to the original holiday of librarians "Eternal cultural hearth - library". The event was dedicated to the inauguration of the veteran librarian aunts and congratulations on the original holiday of library science specialists. Now the XXI century, the age of information, the internet, however, the place of the book is always different. These are special, specific educational things created by the author. Today there is a criticism that" young people do not read books", in fact, books should go hand in hand with the internet. Today I am glad to see veteran librarians who came to congratulate their colleagues. At one time, the university library was our frequent destination. The library should be the second home for any student. Currently, we are trying to increase the Book Fund and provide it as much as possible. At the suggestion of students and teachers, new books are being received, - said the rector of Atyrau university named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov Salamat Idrisov. Veteran librarians Talshyn Aldiyarkyzy and Sara Kushenkyzy spoke at the meeting and shared their memories of their work. The guests were presented with a congratulatory letter from the rector and memorable gifts from the library staff. Students of the department of music and art of the faculty of humanities and arts of the university sang songs on the holiday of librarians, and the senior lecturer of the department of Kazakh language and literature Akmaral Dautkulova, who previously headed this library, wished the library staff good luck. In the 70-year history of the university, the scientific library has a special place, at this event the educational album - book “Scientific library: yesterday, today, tomorrow” was presented by the rector of Atyrau university S. N.Idrissov and candidate of philological sciences, professor S. I. Kamelova. At the end of the event, the head of the scientific library, Sattygul Muratbek, congratulated all veteran librarians and library staff on the holiday and reported on the work being done.
