Teachers and employees of Atyrau university named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov donated blood to help victims of mass riots. Medical professionals determined the blood type of those who came to donate blood, measured blood pressure and gave advice.
The staff of the university acted in an organized manner, taking part in the common cause. Especially many young professionals and teachers came to this event. "We plan to draw blood from about fifty people in one day. Employees are active in donating blood, " says Assel Askhatovna, a doctor of the Regional Blood Center.
Earlier, 49 policemen and 27 soldiers were injured in the riots in Atyrau.
