A new book by our esteemed colleague, Professor of the Department of "Music and art" Ilya Zhakanov, a well-known composer and public figure, has been published.
This book tells about the history of the birth of the famous Kyrgyz cycle of songs "Daniyar's song", "Asel", "Zhamila's song", "Asylym", "Bibizhan", how they came to this Kyrgyz theme in the musical art, how this wonderful cycle of songs was born. "Zhamila" by Chingiz Aitmatov, " goodbye, Gulsary!These five songs, born from the novels "Shynarym Menin, Shyrailym Menin", were called the Kyrgyz cycle or Aitmatov cycle. In 1999, the composer was awarded the Ch.Aitmatov International Prize. He became a knight of the Order of "DANEKER" of Kyrgyzstan. The book is intended for a wide range of readers . The new work can be found on the shelves of our Scientific Library.
