STUDENTS WENT ON AN ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPEDITION
On May 24, students of 1-2 courses of the specialty "History" of Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University went on an educational and practical (archaeological) expedition to study the mounds of the early Iron Age "Karakudyk" and "Talkudyk", located in the settlement of Mukyr, Atyrau region.
The purpose of the expedition is to study the monuments of the early Iron Age, as well as to involve young people in the work of this expedition, to understand the moral value of young people to the fate of the Motherland, its past, present, future, to study the history of their native land, to preserve the historical memory of generations, to increase students' interest in history and responsibility for the future country.
During the event, the chairperson of the Management Board-rector S. N. Idrissov and dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts S. B. Aymuratov made a speech and wished success in the work of the expedition.
