A scientific conference brought together teachers of local schools
On May 21, a scientific and methodological online conference "Ethnomatematic problems in the context of ethno-cultural content of mathematical education" was held for teachers of mathematics in rural schools.
The purpose of the conference is to exchange experience, Exchange advanced methods of using the ethno pedagogic direction in teaching mathematics, and develop mathematical literacy.
The conference, consisting of plenary and breakout sessions, was moderated by Vice-Rector for international relations and science Batryshev Didar Galimovich. Somoderator- head of the Department "Mathematics and methods of teaching mathematics" Shazhdekeeva Nurgul Kydyrbayevna. The opening ceremony of the conference began with a video message from the chairperson of the Management Board-rector Salamat Nurmukhanovich.
The conference was actively attended by teaching staff of the university, employees of scientific research institutes, teachers of Higher, Secondary, Vocational and pedagogical education organizations, school teachers, teachers of the Institute of advanced training of Teachers of Orleu, specialists of the methodological center of the Department of Education of Atyrau region, students and master students.
At the plenary and breakout sessions, reports of scientists-professors from Almaty and Astana and teachers of district schools were read. In addition, scientists of our university Sholpan Dzhanzakova and Bakhyt Barsay made presentations and shared their views.
The meeting ended with suggestions and wishes of the participants of the scientific and methodological conference, which was filled with useful information, which brought together teachers of local schools.
