Coaching for young teachers
On January 9, 2023, a coaching work for young university teachers "the role of active and interactive teaching methods in the formation of self-education and teamwork skills" was held, organized by the office of retraining and advanced training of personnel. Coaching is the discovery of a person's capabilities in order to maximize efficiency, improve professional knowledge, acquired skills and experience of a person. In coaching, it does not teach, it helps in training, it trains. Therefore, the goal of coaching is to improve the pedagogical experience of our colleagues. The coaching was conducted by the Master of Social Sciences, senior lecturer, coach G. Zh. Nursultanova.
After the conversation began about the step-by-step scheme of the coaching process, the coaching model in general, trainings on teamwork according to the plan were organized. Research works were conducted in 5 groups on ways to study the significance of the role of active and interactive teaching methods based on critical thinking technology. Each group proved and presented their work, the teachers of each subject were based on the specifics of the subject. The questions asked were answered. Exercises were organized to explain the material, analysis of video materials, games, young teachers expressed their open ideas and their suggestions in the course of the upcoming work. The coaching ended with oral and written feedback.
