«Ustaz» school –talent center
On September 1, on the day of « knowledge», the «Ustaz » school for gifted boys was opened at our university. The first floor at the opening ceremony was given to the chairman of the Management Board-rector Idrisov Salamat Nurmukhanuly. The main goal of the special school is to create competitive teachers from educated students. At the same time, Professor, Doctor of philology Kadyr Utegenuly wished the students of the school good luck to future teachers.
During the event, rector Salamat Nurmukhanuly handed over the keys of «knowledge» to the director of the school "Ustaz" Sanim Kaluova and wished the university to become the beginning of productive achievements.
On the faces of the students admitted to the school, there was a hint of joy, and they could not hide their impressionable mood. The poem conveyed their true feelings.
What is the peculiarity of the school "Ustaz" in general?
First, it provides in-depth training in natural-mathematical and social-humanitarian areas, free preparation for the UNT using special methods, career guidance in choosing a profession, additional skills related to teaching students, free courses for learning a foreign language, each student has the opportunity to engage in several sports. Thus, it is planned to increase the share of men in the total number of school teachers.
How was she admitted to school?
School "Ustaz" when accepting gifted boys from the village, the average score of the certificate was taken into account. In addition, the students ' ability to think creatively by writing an essay was evaluated. In general, the competition was held from July 15 to August 18 of this year. As a result, 65 students, including 43 students in the 11th grade, 22 students in the 10th grade, will be enrolled in the school and will start studying in the profile direction from September. Since the maximum number of students is accepted for the current academic year, the application is now sent as a reserve for this year or for enrollment for the next year.
Where is the school located?
The Named School was opened in Atyrau, in the building of Z. Gumarov Street No. 96 (House of students of our university No. 3). On the 1st and 2nd floors of the seven-storey building there is an academic building, on the 3rd and 4th floors there is a hostel. That is, boys-students will be accommodated in the hostel for free
