This year, 5 students of Atyrau university named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov received an international scholarship. The scholarship was presented by the head of the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan Elchin Mammadov. The international scholarship named after the leader of the nation, statesman of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev is traditionally awarded to students of the university of Kh. Dosmukhamedov for 14 years in a row. This event is designed to further strengthen the ties between the two fraternal states in the cultural, spiritual and educational spheres and strengthen bilateral cooperation. "Today is the birthday of the leader of the nation, the First President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev. In this regard, we are very pleased to award an international scholarship to the best students of Atyrau university named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov. This event has become a tradition. It is worth noting that for almost 14 years the best students of the university have been receiving scholarships. I would like to express my special gratitude to the chairman of the board-rector of Atyrau university named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov to Salamat Idrisov and the students who supported the event," said Elchin Mammadov, head of the consulate general of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan. The presentation of the book "Eternal Love" by writer Elmira Akhundova, dedicated to the life of the leader of the nation of Azerbaijan, statesman Heydar Aliyev and his wife Zarif Aliyeva, was also held as part of the solemn event. This year, an international scholarship was awarded to a 2nd-year student of the faculty of natural sciences Islambek Kairgaliyev, a 3rd-year student of the faculty of humanities and arts majoring in "Journalism", director and head of the "SAF" student theater Nurligul Dostanova, a 3rd-year student of the faculty of physics, mathematics and information technology Yerasyl Baidauletov, a 3rd-year student of the faculty of innovative education Nazira Jardemgalieva, 3rd year student of the faculty of economics and law Aikumis Aitzhan, 4th year student of the faculty of multilingual education Zhalia Mammadzada.Over 14 years, more than 60 students of Atyrau university have received the Heydar Aliyev international scholarship. "Today I am very glad that I received a scholarship named after the leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev. I think it is a great honor and great support from the Azerbaijani state of Atyrau student activists. I would like to wish that cooperation, friendly ties and unity between the two fraternal countries Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will always continue, and I also wish further development in strengthening our cultural and spiritual ties," said student N.Dostanova. In order to strengthen cooperation between the fraternal states of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan at the Atyrau university named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov's "Center for the study of the history and culture of Azerbaijan" has been functioning since 2012.
