UNIVERSITY HISTORY MUSEUM

The purpose of the museum of Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov - to acquaint students with the history of the university's development, scientists, famous figures and graduates, to organize ideological, spiritual, patriotic education. To promote the Alash activist, teacher, scientist Khalel Dosmukhamedov.

      The main directions of the study of cultural and historical values of artifacts as information sources:
a) identification of exhibits related to museum values;
b) activation of scientific reference works related to museum exhibits;
c) supervision of the storage regime and restoration routes of exhibits and auxiliary funds;
d) systematization of work on the implementation of educational, educational tasks of the museum.

    The direction of the museum as a public, state institution:
a) internal organizational work of the museum;
b) familiarization with special areas of museum activity in republican and local educational institutions;
c) analysis and submission for approval of the upcoming plans of the museum.

                 The University History Museum was founded in 2001.

          The history of the formation and development of the university is placed in a special showcase consisting of 23 parts. It presents photographs and works of outstanding graduates of the university, starting with the Teachers' Institute, opened in 1950, then the institute, university levels, honorary professors, doctors of Sciences and young PhD doctors. Exhibits are also placed. At the exhibition hall dedicated to the life and work of the Alash activist, teacher, scientist Kh. Dosmukhamedov was represented by the owners of the gold medal named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov, the badge "For merits in the development of the University", photographs of scientists, victories and prizes of the university in the cultural, sports and recreational orientation in the education of young people, as well as information about modern life. A copy of the collection of historical artifacts and photographic data displayed in the hall and a special showcase is kept in the department of the museum fund. Today, about a hundred exhibits have been collected.
