Today, about 50 volunteers and students of the faculties of humanities and arts, multilingual education of Atyrau university visited the village of Yerkinkala and took part in the construction of a flood dam. Students and professors were engaged in fixing the dam in bags of soil. During this difficult period, they were joined by the honored worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poet, writer, publisher, as well as the author of the words to the song "Kok tudyn zhelbiregeni" Almas Akhmetbekuly. The famous poet gave a positive assessment of the work done by the university students, their civic engagement and showing that they are together with their country. Then, in the midst of hard work, Almas Akhmetbekuly got busy filling bags with earth. In a busy working environment, the poet and writer read the poem "Ush kyz" to the students and wished them success and academic achievements. It should be added that the construction of the dam continued in the village of Kyzyl Balyk, consisting of 41 students and teachers of the Ustaz school at Atyrau university. "Every citizen of Kazakhstan is the main value of the state," said the honored worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akyn Almas Akhmetbekuly. In turn, university students and students of the Ustaz school expressed their sincere gratitude to the akyn, writer Almas Akhmetbekuly.
