The conference of the American Association for Educational Research “Dismantling racial injustice educational possibilities” was held

The annual international meeting of Aera, the American Association for Educational Research, was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, from April 11 to 14, 2024. The event is one of the largest conferences in America, attended by about 14,200 researchers and participants from 51 countries, and about 2,600 reports were read. The report presented in July 2023 within the framework of an international project was successfully accepted into the list of reports of the conference section on the topic: "Arts-based learning assistance to displaced children: Case of Atyrau Kids' University in Kazakhstan (assistance in teaching emigrant children based on art: the example of Atyrau Children's University in Kazakhstan)". The international annual conference was attended by members of the project L.E. Koishigulova, A.U. Mukhanbetzhanova, A.A. Sultangubieva at the Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov. It should be noted that at this large and important event in North America, the report on the research work of scientists was adopted, testifies to the interest and quality of research at the university. At the opening of the conference, the former president of the Association Tyrone Howard (University of California, Los Angeles) made a welcoming speech, who thanked all those present and introduced the new president Janelle Scott Howard (University of California, Berkeley). Then a local resident of the Aboriginal USA, as well as the new president Janelle Scott Howard, made a speech with a report on the topic "The injustice of race in education." On April 13, the project heard reports from researchers from Canada, Kazakhstan, and Jordan. The report on the research within the framework of the project from the Kazakh side was presented by the project manager A.A. Sultangubieva and Professor of Canada West University A.S. Shilibekova. In 2019, Atyrau University studied the practice of helping children who moved from Syria to the Republic of Kazakhstan to study. The most important is the development of educational assistance for these children through the pilot program "Children's University" at Atyrau University, which included different stages, tasks, difficulties and basic lessons. The results of the study showed that assistance in art-based education at Atyrau Children's University is effective in supporting children with disabilities. The use of visual arts, music and drama has helped to interest children and stimulate their learning, and has also been used in therapeutic means for emotional expression. This study suggests the value and importance of lessons, activities for other institutions that work or study displaced children, and highlights the importance of special support that addresses the special needs of these children. At the end of the event, the speakers were asked questions and the analysis was carried out. The purpose of the conference is to hear, discuss and analyze the reports of researchers. Each participant who came participated in sections on topics of interest to him. It can be noted that all participants show great interest in science and knowledge. Questions were asked about each topic of the reports raised.
