The purpose of the scientific school is to unite qualified scientific and pedagogical staff, undergraduates and students of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, interested departments, organizations, law enforcement agencies to study and practically solve issues on the problems of crime and combat it, to study the state, structure and dynamics of crime in the Republic of Kazakhstan , development of scientific bases of crime prevention.procedure legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan” functions.
By participating in the work of the scientific school, students gain experience in independent research activities in the field of criminal law and criminology, penitentiary law, and develop group work skills. A legal clinic has been created at the department - this is a structural subdivision of the NAO "Atyrau University named after. Kh. Dosmukhamedov ", created to train students in the educational program 6B04201 - "Jurisprudence", 6B04202 - "Law enforcement" professional skills by providing legal assistance to the poor.
The priority direction in the work of the clinic is the provision of legal assistance to low-income and other socially unprotected citizens in the following areas: constitutional law; administrative law; labor law; social security law; housing law; family law; civil law; inheritance law.
Main goals:
- receiving and advising citizens on legal issues;
- preparation and execution of legal documents;
- work with legal documents and databases;
- preparing and distributing publications for the public on topical legal issues;
- cooperation with state and non-state bodies and organizations is carried out;
scientific and practical conferences, meetings and round tables are held on various branches of law and other topical issues;
Main functions:
- providing students of Atyrau University with the opportunity to learn the skills of practical activities in the legal specialty;
- providing opportunities for students of Atyrau University to study and use the materials of the practice of judicial and other law enforcement agencies;
- development of Atyrau University students' skills in working with materials from the real practice of the work of courts and other law enforcement agencies;
- creation of an effective mechanism for the exchange of information between the population, the media and the legal clinic, which will allow prompt response to the practical needs of citizens.
