A meeting with veterans of the Afghan war was held at Atyrau university
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. At the Atyrau university named after H. Dosmukhamedov had a meeting with veterans of the Afghan war in our region.
War veterans Alisher Kulov (sergeant, sapper), Kundyzbai Kusainov (sergeant, shooter), Amanzhol Kuspanov (sergeant, shooter), Muratbek Kenzheakhmetov (telephone driver) were invited to the meeting.
During the meeting, the guests talked about the heroism and exploits of soldiers who served in the Afghan war, about the war that became a part of their lives, and also answered the students' questions. Veterans of the Afghan war also called on young people to maintain a peaceful life, love their native land, not succumb to various provocations, and be always ready to defend their Homeland.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the military department Ruslan Nauryzbekov thanked the honored guests for the touching stories and presented special prizes on behalf of the university.
