Akylbayev Zhambyl Saulebekovich

Akylbayev Zhambyl Saulebekovich was born on July 27, 1938, in the village of Aksu Ayuly, Shet district, Karaganda region. He graduated from high school in the village of Aksu Ayuly, Karaganda region (1950-1960), the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of the Karaganda State Pedagogical Institute, majoring in physics and general engineering (1960-1965), postgraduate studies at the S. M. Kirov Kazakh State University (1965-1968).

He worked as a teacher, head of the department, deputy. Dean, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, vice-rector for Scientific and Educational Work at the Karaganda Pedagogical Institute, then since 1972 at the Karaganda State University.

In 1986-1991-Rector of the Guryev Pedagogical Institute (now - Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University), the Rector of Karaganda State University (1991-2004).Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1970), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1996), academician.
