“Darmarka and separate collection of waste”
On November 3, 2019 students of Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov from the “Green Way” eco- club took part in organizing and conducting the second “Darmarka and separate collection of waste” organized for residents of Atyrau city.
The essence of the event is that everyone can bring their own unnecessary, but good things, books, shoes, accessories, appliances, children's toys and share them with others, as well as take whatever he likes. A mobile separate waste collection point allows you to hand in plastic bottles, glass of any color, paper, aluminum cans and lids, batteries and electronic waste. All remaining items are donated to charitable organizations working with low-income families. And all the collected waste is sent for recycling.
"Darmarka and separate reception of waste" is of great interest to residents of the city. This kind of exchange not only gives new life to things, it also allows you to reduce significantly the cost of resources, money and effort on the production, packaging and delivery of new goods.
