90th anniversary of the king of the Kazakh waltz

On December 2, Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov hosted an evening of musical songs "anim Sen YEDIN", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the composer, King of the Kazakh waltz Shamshi Kaldayakov.

The event was organized by the Department of music and art of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of the University, where students demonstrated their talents.

The purpose of the evening is to repeat the songs of the legendary Kazakh composer and convey to the audience a beautiful rhythm.

The composer, whose name is written in gold letters in the spiritual life and musical culture of our people, was born 90 years ago in Otyrar District of South Kazakhstan region. He was educated at the Kapylanbek veterinary Technical School in Saryagash, the Tashkent music school and the Almaty State Conservatory.

The Kazakh people, who do not know the songs of Shamshi kaldayakov, do not know the vast expanses of the Kazakh steppe. More than 300 of his musical melodies are imbued with several syllables.
During the event, students performed Shamshi Kaldayakov's songs "AK bantik", "AK Erke - AK Zhaiyk", "Gypsy serenade", "Kayakta", "all the same Sen Sulu", which were warmly received by the audience.

A member of the jury, who highly appreciated the work and performance of the participants, was dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts A. C.Bolatkalievich, director of the Department of Youth Policy K. B. Burkitovna, teacher of the Department of Journalism B. F. Musayevich and head of the Department of music and art K. E. Dmitrevna.

The composer's Rhythmic Songs, which connect the vast expanses of the Kazakh land, were warmly received and loved by the public. The main theme of Shamshi's works was love for the country, for the Motherland, for parents, for Zhar, for friends. His songs were mostly performed by such talented Kazakh poets as Mukhtar Shakhanov, Kadyr Mirza Ali, Zhumeken Nazhimedenov, Tolegen Aibergenov, Tumanbai Moldagaliyev, Gafu Kairbekov.

At the end of the evening, dedicated to the most beautiful songs of Shamshi's work, the jury presented awards for the best performance and performers, as well as took photos in memory.
