As part of the week of science on April 16, 2020 at the Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University was held scientific online seminar (at the university platform Science Cafe) on the theme: "Predatory journals as a new manifestation of fraud in science. Jeffrey Bill's list.
How to check the journal on the status of a predatory journal". The main speaker was Didar Batryshev, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, PhD. This meeting raised topical issues, namely, how a scientist not to become a victim of scientific fraud in publishing articles, and how to check the journal on the status of a predator magazine. Over 80 people took part in the online seminar, including scientists from Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, Kainar Academy (Almaty), K.Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University (Aktobe) and South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University (Shymkent).
