The staff of Atyrau university named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov discussed the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan «A just state. One nation. A prosperous society». In his message, the head of state noted: "The next important issue is the state of the education system, which plays a crucial role in increasing the potential of the nation.Our people have a proverb: "El bolamyn desen, besigindi tuze" ("The future of the country is formed in the cradle of a baby"). Kassym- Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev raised a number of issues related to primary, secondary and higher education. The President noted that as the quality of domestic universities improves, the cost of studying in them will also increase, and therefore the state plans to allocate educational grants, which, depending on the results of the unified national testing (UNT) and other indicators, will be differentiated in size – from 30 to 100%. Preferential loans for training at 2-3% per annum will also be provided. These measures will make higher education more accessible, as well as strengthen the ideology of partnership and mutual responsibility in society.
