On September 13-16, Nur-Sultan, the international non-governmental organization Penal Reform International, with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan, held a conference on the introduction of new approaches to research in the field of human rights in Kazakhstan.
As representatives of the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, the mentors of the "Capstone Project" Shayakhmetova Zh.B., Idresova U.Kh. and Yerdeshova Zh.I., as well as students of the 2018 project winners team.
During the event, topical issues of human rights protection were discussed, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, a representative of the Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights, representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Kazakhstan made reports.
