Kid's University

This is a unique project for Kazakhstan, demonstrating the availability of university education for young people. It helps to develop curiosity in children, offering an original educational methodology that is different from the usual schooling, based on increasing experimentation, visibility, interactivity and mass participation.

The program provides lectures, workshops, general development classes, excursions, art sessions on weekends and at vacation time. Lectures with children between 11 and 16 are given by university teachers and scientists in the university’s classrooms.

About us

Kid's University in Kh. Dosmukhamedov ASU

•   creation of favorable conditions for the identification, development and support of gifted children;

•   popularization of scientific knowledge, the development of cognitive activity and the creative potential of children by highlighting topics that stimulate interest in science;

•   additional activities in the university environment: in the classrooms and scientific laboratories of the Atyrau State University;

•   direct communication with the faculty and university students and volunteer students;

•   exciting and serious science using interactive technologies and multimedia resources of Kh. Dosmukhamedov ASU;

•   lectures with demonstration of real experiments, physical practice, research and design work; Fablab-laboratory, EnglishTheatre; mass open events: science festival, excursions, scientific quests, children's scientific conferences, competitions and much more.

*   The international experience of Germany, Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Russia and other countries was used in organizing the Kid's University.

You can make a payment for meals at the Kid's University in the branch of the Centercredit Bank.

Rights and duties of the students of the Kid's University

Students of the Kid's University can

  1. 1. Ask questions;
  2. 2. In advance (on the site, at registration) offer lecture topics;
  3. 3. Receive a high-quality education.

Students of the Kid's University have duties

  1. 1. Follow the schedule of the classes;
  2. 2. Observe discipline rules during class;
  3. 3. Travel across the university territory, accompanied by volunteers;
  4. 4. Maintain cleanliness, not litter in the building and on the territory of the university.
